Can Deep Learning Methods Differentiate Temporomandibular Joint Disorders From Healthy Joints? A 3D Artificial Intelligence Algorithm Study Based on CBCT Images

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, EarlyView.
In this study, an integrated deep learning approach was developed for the evaluation of temporomandibular joint disorders using multicentre CBCT images. The mandibular condyle was first automatically segmented using the nnU‐Net v2 architecture. Subsequently, 3D‐CNN algorithms classified the condyles as healthy or unhealthy and further distinguished ...

Thermal, Structural, and Molecular Characterization of a Model Cereal–Milk Infant Formula: Impact of Ultrasound Pre‐Treatment Prior to Spray Drying

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
This study evaluated the efficacy of an ultrasound pre‐treatment applied to a complex cereal–milk infant formula prior to conventional spray drying to mitigate inherent stickiness and yield challenges. Acoustic cavitation (30–90 s) significantly reduced suspension viscosity and improved atomization efficiency, elevating powder recovery yield from 12 ...

Dopant Activation in Ta‐Doped SnO2 via Postdeposition Annealing for Transparent Electrodes

open access: yesphysica status solidi (a), Volume 223, Issue 11, 10 June 2026.
This study explores the thermal activation of tantalum dopants in room‐temperature deposited tin oxide films. By optimizing deposition pressure, dopant concentration, and annealing temperature, the dominant conduction mechanism shifts from oxygen vacancies to activated dopants. The resulting transparent electrodes achieve high optical transmittance and
