La lutte contre l’ambroisie. Gestion biosécuritaire d’une espèce invasive

open access: yes, 2018

Distributions of non‐native and native plants are not determined by the same environmental factors

open access: yesEcological Solutions and Evidence, Volume 5, Issue 4, October–December 2024.
Distributions of non‐native plant species are driven more strongly by anthropogenic variables than distributions of native plant species, though climate is the most powerful predictor in both species groups. Species distribution models should therefore be fitted with different variables based on the study species' degree of nativeness.

open access: yesSciences, Eaux & Territoires, 2019

Impact of temperature and season on ant foraging activity of two invasive species in a Mediterranean urban area

open access: yesEcological Entomology, Volume 49, Issue 5, Page 673-681, October 2024.
Foraging activity was recorded around nests of two invasive species, Tapinoma magnum and Tapinoma darioi, in southern France, along a whole year and over a broad range of temperatures. Activity pattern did not differ between the two species, suggesting that differential response to temperature is not responsible for the differential invasion pattern ...

open access: yesSciences, Eaux & Territoires, 2019

Enhancing invasive alien plant eradication outcomes: Lessons learned from South Africa

open access: yesAfrican Journal of Ecology, Volume 62, Issue 3, September 2024.
Abstract Several attempts to eradicate invasive alien species have been initiated in South Africa and despite no formal eradication declaration, several species have been brought down to low levels or are now absent from the country. Based on an expert workshop with South African implementing agencies on best nationwide eradication practices, we ...

Standardising field‐based assessment of invasion degree: A case study in two habitats of Reunion Island

open access: yesEcological Solutions and Evidence, Volume 5, Issue 1, January–March 2024.
In this study, we developed a standardised method for quantifying invasion degree among three vegetation strata (herbaceous, shrub and tree) in two contrasted habitats of Reunion Island: lowland tropical forest and subalpine vegetation. This rapid survey is based on four metrics: alien and native species cover, alien species richness, occurrence ...

open access: yesSciences, Eaux & Territoires, 2019
