Deuteration‐functionalized self‐assembled monolayers for UV‐durable perovskite solar cells

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Modification with deuterophenyl groups has been demonstrated to be an effective strategy for the construction of SAMs. The impressive PCE of 26.34% is by far one of the highest values for PSCs with the carbazole‐based SAMs as HTLs. This UV resistance performance represents the highest level of performance reported to date for PSCs using SAMs as HTLs ...

Estimating Interaction Effects With Panel Data

open access: yesJournal of Applied Econometrics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper analyzes how interaction effects can be consistently estimated under economically plausible assumptions in linear panel models with a fixed T$$ T $$‐dimension. We advocate for a correlated interaction term effects (CITE) estimator and show that it is consistent under conditions that are not sufficient for consistency of the ...

Immunomodulatory and Cytotoxic Properties of Enniatin B1 in Porcine Alveolar Macrophages

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the immunomodulatory effects of Enniatin B1 (ENNB1), an emerging mycotoxin, on porcine alveolar macrophages (PAMs), a species‐specific model relevant to human innate immunity. PAMs were exposed to increasing ENNB1 concentrations (0.5–6 μM) over 6, 24, and 48 h.

Dry–Hot Compound Events Driving the 2024 Pantanal Wildfires

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, EarlyView.
Extreme wildfires in the Pantanal in 2024 were driven by a cascade of heatwaves, rainfall deficits and the absence of the annual flood pulse. These conditions dried soils and rivers, enhanced fuel accumulation and enabled early and intense fire outbreaks.

Reconstructing post‐crisis recovery in the hinterlands of Constantinople: A high‐resolution first‐millennium CE pollen record from Lake Yeniçağa (NW Türkiye)

open access: yesJournal of Quaternary Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Facing a novel plague pandemic, military invasions, and political–economic transformations, societies of the eastern Roman (Byzantine) empire had to adapt to a variety of pressures and new ways of exploiting their natural environments during the mid‐1st millennium CE.
