Aleatoric and epistemic uncertainties over time on weather and climate time‐scales, estimated through ensembles that sample aleatoric and epistemic uncertainty using Bayesian neural networks for parameterisations in the Lorenz 1996 model. The spread shows the 16th and 84th percentiles.

From Passive to Active: Self‐Propelled Colloids in Coatings Formulation and Film Formation
Self‐propelled Janus colloids are introduced into coating formulations to overcome passive transport limitations during drying. Careful balance of particle activity and evaporation timescales results in their accumulation at both coating interfaces as well as an orientational bias at the top surface.
