Autophagy signaling in hypertrophied muscles of diabetic and control rats
FEBS Open Bio, Volume 13, Issue 9, Page 1709-1722, September 2023., 2023 We analyzed autophagy proteins in extensor digitorum longus (EDL) and soleus muscles of control and diabetic rats after 7 days of hypertrophy. Basal autophagy proteins were higher in EDL. Diabetes did not affect the hypertrophy or autophagy in either muscle. Soleus showed increased autophagy signaling after hypertrophy.
