La cire et le miel. Statut et fonction de la mémoire chez Huarte

open access: yesCahiers François Viète
This paper seeks to question the conception of memory that emerges from the Examen de ingenios para las ciencias (1575, 1594), by Juan Huarte de San Juan (1529-1588).

Le « corps » (σῶμα) entre « chair » (σάρξ) et « esprit » (πνεῦμα)

open access: yesCahiers d'Études du Religieux- Recherches Interdisciplinaires, 2013
The religious experience that Paul bears witness to leads to a redefinition of worldly existence and involves a novel understanding of the body. To demonstrate this, the present article analyses five passages from the Pauline epistles: 2 Cor.

Mechanically Robust Biodegradable Stents With Theragenerative Vascular Responses via Combined 3D Printing and Janus Nanoengineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a theragenerative 3D‐printed biodegradable stent with Janus nanoarchitecture for spatially controlled vascular healing. A luminal tantalum ion–implanted surface accelerates endothelialization and hemocompatibility, while an abluminal sirolimus/poly‐L‐lactic acid–tantalum layer provides sustained drug release and suppresses smooth ...

Terahertz Channel Modeling, Estimation and Localization in RIS‐Assisted Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces have become a recent intensive research focus. Based on practical applications, channel strategies for RIS‐assisted terahertz wireless communication systems are categorized into three different types: channel modeling, channel estimation, and channel localization.

Selective Electrolysis of Water Under Artificial Seawater Conditions Using Transition Metal Borate Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The borate‐based cobalt‐iron catalyst promotes selective oxidation of water rather than chlorine evolution reaction during electrolysis of seawater. When integrated into a zero‐gap electrolyzer prototype, this catalyst supports robust splitting of artificial seawater into oxygen and hydrogen on an extended timescale.

Radial capacity and hemodynamics evaluation in vitro and implantable feasibility validation in vivo of thinner bioresorbable polymer vascular stents

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
A series of in vitro experiments, numerical simulations and in vivo experiments were conducted to jointly evaluate the effects of different thicknesses of bioabsorbable polymer vascular stents on their radial capacity, hemodynamics and in vivo outcomes.

Interval and Point Direction Finding of Radio Emission Sources for Broadband Radio Monitoring

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений России: Радиоэлектроника, 2020
Introduction. The point and interval direction finding of radio sources is used for broadband radio monitoring in the frequency domain. The initial data for broadband radio monitoring are spectral samples obtained from an M-element antenna array by ...

Extended prone positioning for intubated ARDS: a review

open access: yesCritical Care, 2023
During the COVID-19 pandemic, several centers had independently reported extending prone positioning beyond 24 h. Most of these centers reported maintaining patients in prone position until significant clinical improvement was achieved.

Laser‐Based In Situ Diagnostics of Temperature and Material‐Growth Dynamics in Photothermal Laser Nanoprinting of ZnO

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
This work elucidates the previously unknown thermal dynamics during sub‐micrometer photothermal laser printing of zinc oxide using a non‐invasive transmission‐based in situ measurement. The elevated temperatures are shown to be highly localized around the laser focal spot, reaching average temperature increases of about 113 K per mW of laser power ...
