Computationally Efficient Unitary ESPRIT Algorithm in Bistatic MIMO Radar [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2021
A low complexity unitary estimating signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) algorithm is presented for angle estimation in bistatic multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) radar. The devised algorithm only requires calculating two submatrices covariance matrix, which reduces the computation cost in comparison with subspace methods.

An Enhanced Spatial Smoothing Technique With ESPRIT Algorithm for Direction of Arrival Estimation in Coherent Scenarios

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 2020
Subspace-based methods suffer from the rank loss of the noise free data covariance matrix in the context of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation of coherent sources.

Closed-form 2D angle estimation with a spherical array via spherical phase mode excitation and ESPRIT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We present a new spherical ESPRIT algorithm, being a closed-form algorithm for use in conjunction with spherical arrays that provides automatically paired source azimuth and elevation estimates.

On the accuracy of solving confluent Prony systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper we consider several nonlinear systems of algebraic equations which can be called "Prony-type". These systems arise in various reconstruction problems in several branches of theoretical and applied mathematics, such as frequency estimation ...

Improved ESPRIT Method for Joint Direction-of-Arrival and Frequency Estimation Using Multiple-Delay Output

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2012
An automatic pairing joint direction-of-arrival (DOA) and frequency estimation is presented to overcome the unsatisfactory performances of estimation of signal parameter via rotational invariance techniques- (ESPRIT-) like algorithm of Wang (2010), which

Comparison of SAGE and classical multi-antenna algorithms for multipath mitigation in real-world environment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The performance of the Space Alternating Generalized Expectation Maximisation (SAGE) algorithm for multipath mitigation is assessed in this paper. Numerical simulations have already proven the potential of SAGE in navigation context, but practical ...

Tensor Decomposition-based Beamspace Esprit Algorithm for Multidimensional Harmonic Retrieval

open access: yesIEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2020
Beamspace processing is an efficient and commonly used approach in harmonic retrieval (HR). In the beamspace, measurements are obtained by linearly transforming the sensing data, thereby achieving a compromise between estimation accuracy and system ...
