On the Relationship Between Two CUSUM Charts

open access: yesQuality and Reliability Engineering International, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The cumulative sum (CUSUM) chart is a fundamental tool in statistical process control (SPC) and sequential change‐point detection. Two closely related formulations appear in the literature: the standard CUSUM introduced by Page in 1954 and the CUSUM studied by Moustakides in 1986, the latter of which is shown to be exactly optimal under Lorden'

Renewable Resource Curse Hypothesis: Could Renewable Resources Foster Sustainable Development?

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study explores whether the resource curse hypothesis applies to renewable energy by introducing a novel metric of renewable resource rent. Using a panel dataset of 46 countries (2010–2022), we define renewable rent as the product of electricity generation and the gap between industrial electricity price and levelized cost (LCOE).

Hierarchically Rough rGO/HAp Nanocoatings on SLM Ti–6Al–4 V Implants for Enhanced Biointegration

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study investigates HAp/rGO bioactive coatings on Ti‐6Al‐4V fixation implants fabricated by selective laser melting with systematically varied volumetric energy density to tailor the as‐built surface state. Composite coatings were deposited by electrophoretic deposition and characterized using micro‐CT, profilometry, FESEM/EDS, and detailed XPS to ...

The Host‐Guest Assemblies of Metal–Organic Frameworks and Protic Ionic Liquids With ZIF‐8 and [Dema][TfO] – Structural Response and Ionic Conductivity

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
MOFs can serve as effective proton conductors owing to their porous structures and well‐defined channels. In this study, the protic ionic liquid [Dema][TfO] is introduced into ZIF‐8 cages. The confined [Dema][TfO] can transfer between adjacent ZIF‐8 cages, inducing cage expansion through the swing effect.
