Mitigation of infusion and cure‐induced defects for thick thermosetting composites: Current challenges and future trends

open access: yesPolymer Composites, Volume 46, Issue S1, Page S9-S25, 10 September 2025.
Typical manufacturing defects and mitigation strategies in thick thermosetting composites. Abstract The composite part industry is currently dominated by thin‐section geometries. However, thick composites gain interest in many applications where monolithic parts are required, such as foils, wind mill root blades, and so forth.

Traitement du sol par vibroflottation – Application aux ouvrages de protection du port de DjenDjen, Jijel, Algérie [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Soil treatment by vibroflotation is a recent technique for improving soil with poor geo-mechanical properties. In addition, this treatment minimizes the risk of liquefaction and the instability of the caisson.

Review: A Coherent and Comprehensive Model of the Evolution of the Outer Solar System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Since the discovery of the first extra-solar planets, we are confronted with the puzzling diversity of planetary systems. Processes like planet radial migration in gas-disks and planetary orbital instabilities, often invoked to explain the exotic orbits ...

Protective effects of Paeonia suffruticosa callus extract in skin through anti‐inflammation and repair UVB‐induced damage

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, Volume 47, Issue 4, Page 652-664, August 2025.
Peony callus extract (PCE) is beneficial for skin anti‐ageing and sensitivity induced by UVB radiation, through decreasing the level of inflammatory factors and matrix metalloproteinases. Furthermore, our research indicates that PCE effectively improves the total collagen content in human skin. Abstract Objective The study investigated effects of peony

Refrain from Standards? French, Cavemen and Computers. A (short) Story of Multidimensional Analysis in French Prehistoric Archaeology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Focusing on the history of prehistoric archaeology in the 20th century, this papers shows (1) that statistical multidimensional analyses were carried out by a new kind of actors who challenged the previous common language shared by prehistorians.

Opinion and report of the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) relating to an analysis of the health risks associated with exposure to caterpillars with stinging hairs and the development of management recommendations

open access: yesFood Risk Assess Europe, Volume 3, Issue 2, April 2025.
Abstract Several species of Lepidoptera with caterpillars bearing urticating hairs are increasing their range in metropolitan France from year to year, such as the pine processionary (Thaumetopoea pityocampa Denis et Schiffermüller 1775) whose presence was historically limited to the south of France, and which is gradually being observed in the north ...

Mesure du module en petites déformations d'un sol autour d'une conduite enterrée : présentation d'un nouvel essai in situ [PDF]

open access: yesCanadian Geotechnical Journal, 2000
A new method of measurement of backfill stiffness around buried flexible pipe is presented. It consists of using flexible pipe as an expanding pressiometric probe. The pipe dilatation is obtained by an internal jacking test that causes a relatively small three-dimensional "ovalization" around 0.05%.
