Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Reconstruction of k-essence model
We explicitly construct the k-essence models which reproduce the arbitrary FRW cosmology, that is, the arbitrary time-development of the scale factor or the Hubble rate.

Testing a dissipative kinetic k-essence model [PDF]
In this work, we present a study of a purely kinetic k-essence model, characterized basically by a parameter $\alpha$ in presence of a bulk dissipative term, whose relationship between viscous pressure $\Pi$ and energy density $\rho$ of the background ...

Duality between k-essence and Rastall gravity [PDF]
The k-essence theory with a power-law function of $(\partial\phi)^2$ and Rastall's non-conservative theory of gravity with a scalar field are shown to have the same solutions for the metric under the assumption that both the metric and the scalar fields ...
