A systematic review and meta-analysis of noradrenaline compared to adrenaline in the management of septic shock

Background: Septic shock is associated with significant mortality. The International Surviving Sepsis Campaign guidelines recommend noradrenaline as first-line vasopressor, whilst South African guidelines recommend adrenaline.
