Definirati pojam estetike potpune proteze nije jednostavan zadatak. Estetika nema precizne definicije niti granica kojima bi se nešto smatralo estetskim, odnosno neestetskim. To je osjećaj promatrača koji ovisi o samome čovjeku, njegovoj subjektivnosti, a koji mu dopušta da sudjeluje u ideji onoga što je lijepo.

U radu je definiran pojam estetike totalnih proteza. Estetika je uvjetovana izborom boje, oblika i veličine prednjih umjetnih zuba kao i njihovom postavom. Zadovoljstvo pacijenata s totalnom protezom u velikoj je korelaciji s odgovarajućom estetikom istih.

It describes the influences of the texts of J. Ruskin, W. Morris, W. Pater and J. M. Whistler on Wilde's thought.
