Novel nitro‐quinoline photoinitiators for composites: exploring the effects of hydroxyl and methacrylate substituents on the photopolymerization of dimethacrylate matrices

New quinoline derivatives proved to be efficient photoinitiators for dental resin monomers under two different light‐curing units, yielding favorable conversion, color and fluorescence results in the presence of different co‐initiators, including an eco‐friendly alternative.
