A new occurrence of tetrapod footprints from the Late Triassic of the Candelária Sequence, Brazil
Abstract The Hyperodapedon Assemblage Zone of the Candelária Sequence (Santa Maria Supersequence, Paraná Basin) preserves one of the most significant Late Triassic continental vertebrate assemblages in southern Brazil. Despite the relatively well‐documented body fossil record from this interval, ichnological records remain comparatively scarce.

Testing the Dry Refuge Model: Paleoecological Insights From Late Pleistocene Gomphotheres in Ecuador
We present paleontological evidence that may prove the Dry Refuge Model in Ecuador during the Late Pleistocene. ABSTRACT Paleoenvironmental records indicate that Neotropical regions near the Equator experienced reduced rainfall during the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM). However, some records show conflicting environmental signals.

Abstract Palaeobiological evidence of predation on ostracods derives primarily from drill‐hole traces. However, this record is limited to sparse reports and rare quantitative analyses hinder understanding of influence of predator–prey interaction in the evolution of ostracods. Moreover, predation is rarely studied in deep‐water settings.

A Reserve of Light: Photography, Ethnography, and Lucid Memory in Contemporary Chile
ABSTRACT This article takes shape as a shared inquiry between an ethnographer and a photographer, in continuity with the photographic archive of Luis Poirot. ABSTRACT Microbial mats and microbialites are common in modern and ancient saline lacustrine environments and are highly responsive to biological and environmental factors. As such, they represent important sources of high‐resolution environmental data across a wide range of geological time. Nonetheless, interpretation of fossil mats is non‐trivial due
