CD207+ dendritic cells (DCs) drive emphysema by promoting CD8⁺ T cell cytotoxicity via Birbeck granule‐dependent MHC‐I antigen presentation. This DC subset is expanded by cigarette smoke‐induced oxidative stress, which triggers granulocyte‐macrophage colony‐stimulating factor (GM‐CSF) release from airway epithelium.

EIF1AX Nucleolar Condensates Enhance Susceptibilities for the Management of Endometrial Cancer
This schematic illustrates the mechanism of a senolytic strategy in endometrial cancer. EIF1AX facilitates the incorporation of DDX21 into nucleolar condensates, an event that suppresses rDNA transcription and induces cellular senescence. The compound 2,5‐MeC exploits this pathway by promoting EIF1AX nucleolar translocation and condensate formation ...

Bisphenol B Exposure Induces Miscarriage by Suppressing Migration/Invasion and Migrasome Formation
BPB (Bisphenol B) exposure up‐regulates ER (estrogen receptor) levels, enhances its interactions with the lnc‐HZ04 promoter region, and thus promotes ER‐mediated lnc‐HZ04 transcription. Subsequently, lnc‐HZ04 suppresses TCF4 (transcription factor 4)‐mediated PKCA (protein kinase C alpha) transcription and subsequently suppresses migration/invasion and ...

Estrogen receptor interaction with estrogen response elements [PDF]
The estrogen receptor (ER) is a ligand-activated enhancer protein that is a member of the steroid/nuclear receptor superfamily. Two genes encode mammalian ER: ERalpha and ERbeta. ER binds to specific DNA sequences called estrogen response elements (EREs) with high affinity and transactivates gene expression in response to estradiol (E(2)).

Dual role of estrogens in endometrial cancer
Increased local concentrations of estrogens are a well-known risk factor for endometrial cancer. Estrogens can act as mitogens via the estrogen receptors, and by forming oxidative metabolites they can act as cancer initiators.
