Additive Manufacturing of NiTi Shape Memory Alloys for Elastocaloric Applications: A Review
Additive manufacturing enables complex NiTi architectures that overcome key limitations in elastocaloric refrigeration, including poor heat transfer and high mechanical work input. This review surveys recent advances in LPBF‐ and DED‐fabricated NiTi shape memory alloys for elastocaloric applications, highlighting process–structure–performance ...

Spin Defects in Hexagonal Boron Nitride as 2D Strain Sensors
We demonstrate that boron‐vacancy (VB${\rm V}_{\rm B}$) centers in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) enable quantitative strain sensing with sub‐micrometer resolution. Using this approach under continuously tunable in‐plane stress, we precisely quantify strain‐induced shifts of the E2g${\rm E}_{2{\rm g}}$ Raman mode in multilayer hBN, establishing VB${\rm ...

DNA‐Origami‐Assembled Rhodium Nanoantennas for Deep‐UV Label‐Free Single‐Protein Detection
Deep‐UV autofluorescence of single proteins in DNA origami‐based rhodium nanoantennas. Precisely positioned within the plasmonic nanogap, proteins retain their native state while their intrinsic emission is strongly amplified, enabling label‐free single‐molecule detection and opening new opportunities for highly sensitive and specific biosensing ...

Observation of $\chi_{c2}\to\eta'\eta'$ and $\chi_{c0,2}\to\eta\eta'$
Using a sample of $447.9\times 10^6$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector in 2009 and 2012, we study the decays $\chi_{c0,2}\to$ $\eta'\eta'$ and $\eta\eta'$. The decays $\chi_{c2}\to\eta'\eta'$, $\chi_{c0}\to\eta\eta'$ and $\chi_{c2}\to\eta\eta'$ are observed for the first time with statistical significances of $9.6\sigma$, $13.4 ...

Engineering Strategies for Stable and Long‐Life Alkaline Zinc‐Based Flow Batteries
Alkaline zinc‐based flow batteries face persistent challenges from unstable zinc deposition, including dendrite growth, passivation, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution, which severely limit cycling stability. Current research addresses these issues through coordinated electrode structuring, electrolyte regulation, and membrane design to control zinc ...

Using a sample of $1.31×{10}^{9}\text{}\text{}J/\psi $ events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform a study of $J/\psi \to \gamma \eta \eta {\eta }^{\prime }$ to search for the $X\left(2370\right)$ and ${\eta }_{c}$ in the $\eta \eta {\eta }^{\prime }$ invariant mass distribution. No significant signal for the $X\left(2370\right)$ is observed,

This work presents a rate‐adaptive site transformation strategy in Ag‑ethylenediamine intercalated Co9S8, which not only enables parallel water dissociation and H* adsorption, but also allows the catalyst to provide more active sites under high demand, removing a major bottleneck. The catalyst achieves a record current density of 4.2 A cm−2@2.0 V, with
