INTRALESIONAL INJECTION OF ETHANOLAMINE OLEATE WITH OR WITHOUT LOCAL ANAESTHETIC AGENT TO ASSESS POSTOPERATIVE PAIN IN ORAL VENOUS MALFORMATIONS (A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED CLINICAL TRIAL) [PDF]

open access: yesAlexandria Dental Journal, 2023
Introduction: Sclerotherapy is a well-established treatment option for oral vascular anomalies. Ethanolamine Oleate is widely used as a sclerosing agent for oral vascular malformation, especially low flow venous lesions, however, pain is one of the most ...

The Cobalamin-Dependent Gene Cluster of Listeria monocytogenes: Implications for Virulence, Stress Response, and Food Safety

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2020
Several genes of the eut, pdu, and cob/cbi operons are responsible for the metabolism of ethanolamine (EA) and 1,2-propanediol (PD) and are essential during the pathogenic lifecycles of various enteric pathogens.

Phosphatidylethanolamine homeostasis under conditions of impaired CDP-ethanolamine pathway or phosphatidylserine decarboxylation

open access: yesFrontiers in Nutrition, 2023
Phosphatidylethanolamine is the major inner-membrane lipid in the plasma and mitochondrial membranes. It is synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum from ethanolamine and diacylglycerol (DAG) by the CDP-ethanolamine pathway and from phosphatidylserine by

Effect of ethanolamine on choline uptake and incorporation into phosphatidylcholine in human Y79 retinoblastoma cells.

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1990
The effect of physiological concentrations of ethanolamine on choline uptake and incorporation into phosphatidylcholine was investigated in human Y79 retinoblastoma cells, a multipotential, undifferentiated retinal cell line that has retained many neural

Evidence for an ethanolamine cycle: differential recycling of the ethanolamine moiety of phosphatidylethanolamine derived from phosphatidylserine and ethanolamine [PDF]

open access: yesBiochemical Journal, 1995
Evidence is presented for the operation of an ethanolamine-phosphatidylethanolamine (PtdEtn) cycle in Chinese hamster ovary cells. PtdEtn was labelled with [3H]ethanolamine and radioactivity was chased by incubation with 1 mM unlabelled ethanolamine. Radioactivity in [3H]PtdEtn gradually declined over a 23 h time period.

Characterization of ethanolamine binding to CqsR.

open access: yes, 2020
(A) MST quantification (FNorm; normalized fluorescence) for ethanolamine binding to CqsR was performed by titrating between 200 μM and 0.0061 μM with 20 nM His6-tagged CqsR. Ethanolamine binds to CqsR with a Kd of 0.478 ± 0.076 μM.
