Bitcoin, Blockchains and Ethereum
2021This chapter explains how Bitcoin works, and its underlying blockchain technology, which delivers publically verifiable, immutable records whose integrity relies on neither trusted central parties nor secret keys. It also gives an overview of Ethereum, extending Bitcoin to a decentralized computing platform supporting what are called smart contracts.

Classification of Ethereum Vulnerabilities and their Propagations
2020 Second International Conference on Blockchain Computing and Applications (BCCA), 2020Blockchain technology is having an ever-increasing impact on distributed applications domain, since the adoption of Blockchain 2.0 led to the spread of smart contracts. In such a context, Ethereum is the framework with the highest diffusion in terms of smart contract’s development, with a consequent rise of exploitation of code vulnerabilities, some of

Ethereum is one of the most crucial decentralized blockchains that has been studied in recent years, however, there hasn’t been a lot of studies about the elements that can affect Ethereum. In this study, we will use 2SLS, RD, DiD, and AR(P)to explain the interplay between Ethereum and Address Active Count.

In the previous chapter we learned how to programmatically interact with Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains using JavaScript. We also touched on how to create and deploy Ethereum smart contracts. In this chapter we will take our blockchain application programming to the next level by learning how to develop and deploy a DApp based on the Ethereum ...
