A new classification for inland freshwater palaeowetlands to be used in the field or core laboratory by sedimentologists, providing examples from the Guadix Basin (southern Spain). Abstract Present wetlands have proven to be delicate, biodiverse ecosystems, that are natural sinks for CO2 and act as good indicators for climate changes.

Mathematical modeling of the spread of the coronavirus under strict social restrictions

We formulate a simple susceptible‐infectious‐recovery (SIR) model to describe the spread of the coronavirus under strict social restrictions. The transmission rate in this model is exponentially decreasing with time. We find a formula for basic reproduction function and estimate the maximum number of daily infected individuals.

Barriers to the Growth and Implementation of Biogas Technology: The Kenyan Experience

Economic constraints were identified as the most critical barrier to biogas adoption, while policy‐related challenges were found to be the least. Among the specific barriers, limited awareness of biogas benefits, inadequate distribution infrastructure, and shortage of skilled technicians are top barriers.
