Sex Differences in the Factors Associated With Lifetime Alcohol, Tobacco and Cannabis Use Among Ghanaian University Students: A Cross‐Sectional Study

Among 600 Ghanaian university students, males had higher lifetime alcohol, tobacco, and cannabis use than females. Strict parental supervision protected males; Islamic faith protected females; residential autonomy and family conflict increased female cannabis use.
