CANCER in the ethmoid labyrinth is usually "bad news" to the practicing otolaryngologist. Almost invariably the malignant cells involve vital adjacent structures before a diagnosis can be made. The early symptoms of nasal obstruction and postnasal discharge can be easily attributed to benign involvements of the nose.

Osteosarcoma of the ethmoid sinus

A rare case of chondroblastic osteosarcoma arising from the ethmoid sinus is reported. The patient, a 34-year-old woman, presented with diminished visual acuity of the left eye. CT and MR imaging showed a heterogeneous left-sided nasoethmoidal mass destroying the medial orbital wall.

Foreign body in the ethmoid sinus

We report a case of sinolith in the left ethmoid sinus of a 61-year-old man. The patient complained of nasal obstruction. Computed tomography revealed a small, calcified mass associated with a nasal polyp in the left ethmoid sinus. The antrolith and polyp were removed via endoscopic sinus surgery.
