Current Psychiatry Reports, 2006This paper defines concepts of culture, ethnicity, and paranoia. It then explores the relationship between culture and ethnicity and the development of paranoia both in mental health settings and in the wider world. The importance of cultural awareness training while dealing with an ethnic population in any multicultural setting is emphasized.
