Hidden Corners of Ethnic Medical History
Journal of the Royal Society of Health, 1986Transcultural medicine comprises encounters between a doctor of one ethnic group and his patient of another. The issues involved are medical (physical, psychological and social), religious, ethnic and cultural. There are hidden corners of ethnic medical history which have to be sought actively by the doctor if diagnostic traps are to be prevented.
