Ab Initio Electronic Structure Study of One-Electron Reduction of Polychlorinated Ethylenes
Polychlorethylene radicals, anions, and radical anions are potential intermediates in the reduction of polychlorinated ethylenes (C2Cl4, C2HCl3, trans-C2H2Cl2, cis-C2H2Cl2, 1,1-C2H2Cl2, C2H3Cl).

Mechanical and Electrical Phenotype of hiPSC‐Cardiomyocytes on Fibronectin‐Based Hydrogels
We introduce fibronectin‐based PEG hydrogels with controlled rigidity to enable the culture of iPSC‐derived cardiomyocytes. These substrates offer an alternative to the current culture of these cells on fibronectin‐coated glass, providing enhanced structural and functional behavior. The system provides a more physiologically relevant platform to assess

Aqueous Two‐Phase Bioinks for Discrete Packing and Compartmentalization of 3D Bioprinted Cells
Aqueous two‐phase systems (ATPS) enable the formation of biomimetic interfaces crucial for tissue engineering. However, clinical translation remains limited by the challenge of precisely controlling cellular compartmentalization. Here, we developed ATPS biomaterial inks for 3D bioprinting allowing tuneable droplet formation via NaCl modulation.

Development of a whole-cell biosensor for ethylene oxide and ethylene
Abstract Ethylene and ethylene oxide are widely used in the chemical industry, and ethylene is also important for its role in fruit ripening. Better sensing systems would assist risk management of these chemicals. Here, we characterise the ethylene regulatory system in Mycobacterium

Dipole moments and structure of adducts of hexachlorocyclopentadiene with halo-substituted ethylenes
1. New adducts of hexachlorocyclopentadiene with halo-substituted ethylenes and hexachlorocyclopentadiene dimer were synthesized. 2. The dipole moments and structures of the adducts obtained and those described earlier were determined. © 1966 Consultants

The causes for the title reaction to be limited to only the alkenes with an unsubstituted terminal alkenic carbon were explored. In some "failed" cases the cycloaddition products actually formed but rearranged concurrently. An oxygen atom or a N-Boc (Boc=

Reactions of 1-cyano-1-R-2-(5-X-2-furyl)ethylenes with nucleophilic reagents
The Knoevenagel condensation of phenylsulphonylacetonitrile and benzoylacetonitrile with 5-X-furane-2-carbaldehydes ( X = Br, NO2, C6H5S, C6H5SO2) has been used for preparation of the respective condensation products 1-cyano-1-fenylsulphonyl-2-(5-X-2 ...
