Artificial intelligence and machine learning‐assisted digital applications for biopharmaceutical manufacturing

open access: yesBiotechnology Progress, EarlyView.
Abstract Artificial intelligence and automation are no longer just buzzwords in the biopharmaceutical industry. The manufacturing of a class of biologics, comprising monoclonal antibodies, cell therapies, and gene therapies, is far more complex than that of traditional small molecule drugs.

Morphologically Uniform Electron Transport Layer Incorporating Conjugated Polymer for Efficient Charge Extraction in Tin Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A compact and morphologically uniform electron transport layer is created by blending PC61BM with a small amount of P3HT. The optimized architecture enables efficient charge extraction and suppresses interfacial recombination, which enhances power conversion efficiency and strengthens long‐term operational stability in tin‐based perovskite solar cells,

Tracing the Permission to Act in Necessity in the Germanic Tradition

open access: yesUniversity of Vienna Law Review
Germanic law accepts that some acts of necessity are permitted ('justified acts of necessity', or, in German, 'gerechtfertigte Notstandshandlungen'). The present article shows the intellectual history of this rule and what may be learned from it.

Implementation of OMOP and ConcePTION Common Data Models in CPRD GOLD: Risk of Bleeding and Cardiovascular Outcomes From Anticoagulant Use

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.
The impact of the choice of common data model (CDM) approach on the study results in a real‐world evidence (RWE) study is unknown. We aimed to determine potential differences in the results of an RWE study when data were mapped to two different CDMs, ConcePTION and OMOP. With the same instance of CPRD GOLD, data were mapped to both CDMs. Using the same

Reduction of recombination at the interface of perovskite and electron transport layer with graded pt quantum dot doping in ambient air-processed perovskite solar cell

open access: yesScientific Reports
The study of charge transfer in thin film solar cells made of several layers is of high importance since they may lose their energy via the recombination process at the interfaces, specifically at the interface of the electron transport layer (ETL) and ...

Enhanced Thermal Durability and Efficiency of Organic Solar Cells via Selective Organic Electron Transport Layers

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
PDINN‐based organic solar cells exhibit strong thermal durability, maintaining high efficiency at 110°C, whereas PFN‐Br devices degrade rapidly. PDINN's stable interfacial interactions enhance charge transport and suppress recombination, emphasizing the key role of interfacial engineering in achieving thermally durable, high‐performance OSCs.

A Boric Acid‐SnO2 Composite for Interfacial Stabilization of Highly Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
The interaction between BA and FAI can inhibit the oxidation of iodide ions to elemental iodine (I2) in perovskite films, significantly improving the films' UV stability, and the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the device containing BA reaches 25.7%.
