THE FOOD REQUIREMENTS OF BLEPHARIDOPTERUS ANGULATUS (HETEROPTERA: MIRIDAE) AS A PREDATOR OF THE LIME APHID, EUCALLIPTERUS TILIAE

The weight of lime aphids consumed by B. angulatus increases at an increasing rate during nymphal development, with the fifth instar contributing 50% of the total consumption. Males and females reach different adult weights, but show no difference in food consumption.
