Application of LIDAR to forest inventory for tree count in stands of Eucalyptus sp [PDF]
Light Detection and Ranging, or LIDAR, has become an effective ancillary tool to extract forest inventory data and for use in other forest studies. This work was aimed at establishing an effective methodology for using LIDAR for tree count in a stand of Eucalyptus sp. located in southern Bahia state.

This research provides a complete morphoanatomical description of Lysimachia nummularia, as well as a HPTLC profile. Standard techniques of light and scanning electron microscopies, as well as standard techniques of HPTLC, were used. ABSTRACT Primulaceae are distributed all over the world, encompassing around 2590 species.

PHYSICAL QUALITY OF SOIL IN MECHANIZED THINNING OF Eucalyptus sp.
The traffic of machines is the main cause of compaction of forest soils, causing soil deformations, due to the pressures exerted by the machines, both at the time of cutting and in the transshipment of wood. In this sense, this work had as objective to evaluate soil compaction, caused by the traffic of machines, in the mechanized thinning operation of ...

Salt‐induced nutritional and metabolic shifts in halophytes: implications for food security
Abstract Plant species vary in their response to salinity: some crops show a degree of salt tolerance, while halophytes – whether wild or cultivated – are characterized by a high capacity to thrive under saline conditions. Halophytes are considered a source of valuable secondary metabolites with potential economic value, yet they might also produce ...
