Der Zwergpinguin Eudvptula minor ist mit knapp 1.2 kg Gewicht die kleinste Pinguinart der Welt und lebt an den Küsten Tasmaniens und Neuseelands sowie an der Südküste Australiens. Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, den Energiehaushalt und das Verhalten des Zwergpinguins auf See zu untersuchen.
