Energy market and the entities involved. ABSTRACT This paper presents a comprehensive and systematic review of the Incentive‐Based Demand Response (IBDR) program, highlighting its development, design, and implementation in modern Renewable Energy (RE)‐based hierarchical Energy Markets (EMs). The study categorizes the existing body of research into four

In this paper, we discuss the role of the damping term mu u(t) in unique determination of unknown spatial load F(x) in a damped Euler-Bernoulli beam equation u (tt) + mu u(t) + (r(x)u(xx))(xx) = F(x)G(t) from the measured final time displacement u(T)(x) :

This study investigates time‐dependent settlement of pile foundations. A hybrid framework combining Artificial Neural Networks and Finite Element Modeling was developed to derive an empirical equation for the pile‐soil system stiffness evolution over time. The model was validated and calibrated using laboratory test data.

Vibration modes of the Euler–Bernoulli beam equation with singularities
We consider the time dependent Euler–Bernoulli beam equation with discontinuous and singular coeffi-cients. Using an extension of the Hörmander product of distributions with non-intersecting singular supports (L.

Dynamic Stability of the Periodic and Aperiodic Structures of the Bernoulli-Euler Beams [PDF]
The study analyzed the influence of periodic and aperiodic stiffness distribution for the four-element Bernoulli-Euler beam on the first two eigenfrequencies and the dynamic stability of the system. The influence of increasing the ratio of cross-sections

Mathematical Modeling of Pulse‐Seeded Metapopulation Dynamics for Andes Hantavirus Border Dispersal
A pulse‐seeded metapopulation SEIR model for Andes hantavirus maritime dispersal shows that heterogeneous quarantine compliance determines secondary outbreak risk. The weakest‐compliance country governs global containment, while uniform compliance above ∼65%$$ \sim 65\% $$ reduces the global reproduction number below unity.

On the forced vibration of carbon nanotubes via a non-local Euler-Bernoulli beam model
This article studies the forced vibration of the carbon nanotubes (CNTs) using the local and the non-local Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. Amplitude ratios for the local and the non-local Euler-Bernoulli beam models are given for single-and double-walled ...

Exploring the Use and Impact of Composite Materials in Robotics: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Lightweight and high‐strength materials are important in robotics, as structural design impacts efficiency, payload capacity, and energy consumption. Composite materials, with their superior stiffness‐to‐weight ratios and multifunctional properties, offer clear advantages over conventional metals and polymers.

Timoshenko beam bending solutions in terms of Euler-Bernoulli solutions
The Timoshenko beam theory is an extension of the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory to allow for the effect of transverse shear deformation. This more refined beam theory relaxes the normality assumption of plane sections that remain plane and normal to the ...
