open access: yesGeografia Ensino & Pesquisa, 2012
Due to agricultural expansion in the last decades, there was a considerable reduction of the Brazilian Biomes. The Bioma Cerrado, specifically, has lost 42% of its original vegetation for agricultural activities (SANO et al.,2002) , resulting in ...

Previous Hamstring Injury Does Not Impact Biceps Femoris Long Head Fascicle Length and Eccentric Knee Flexion Strength Changes Following a Low‐Volume Resistance Training Intervention in Elite Under‐20‐Year‐Old Male Gaelic Footballers

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Sport Science, Volume 26, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT This study reports biceps femoris long head (BFlh) fascicle length and eccentric knee flexion strength changes following a 9‐week in‐season low‐volume resistance training intervention in elite under‐20‐year‐old (U20) male Gaelic footballers with and without previous hamstring injury.

Europium(II) Heptaphosphide EuP7 [1] Europium(II)heptaphosphid EuP7 [1]

open access: yesZeitschrift für Naturforschung B, 1980
The novel polyphosphide EuP7 was prepared under controlled conditions by the reaction of the elements in salt melts at 750-800 K. EuP7 forms black prismatic crystals not attacked by diluted mineral acids and bases. The thermal decomposition yields EuP3 at 700 K and in further steps EuP2, Eu3P4 and EuP, respectively.

Integrating DynamiCROP model and risk assessment for pesticide residues in spinach: Implications for food safety

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 7, Page 7154-7163, July 2026.
This study adapted and validated the dynamiCROP model for spinach, a leafy vegetable not previously included in its standard framework. The findings confirm that model‐predicted pesticide concentrations, when integrated into hazard quotient (HQ) calculations, can effectively support dietary risk assessment.

Flowcytometric and Allozymic Studies on the Korean Dandelion (Taraxacum, Asteraceae), With Special Reference to the Hybrid Origin of Taraxacum coreanum Nakai

open access: yesPlant Species Biology, Volume 41, Issue 4, July 2026.
We found that the Korean tetraploid Taraxacum coreanum (Co) shows fixed heterozygosity at two dimeric enzyme loci, sod‐1 (aaab) and mdh‐1 (bddd). Allele‐specific comparisons indicate that sod‐1 ‘a’ and mdh‐1 ‘d’ are characteristic of the triploid T. mongolicum (Mo) whereas the ‘b’ alleles at both loci match Korean diploids (e.g., T. hallaisanense, Ha).

Farmland Liquidity Under a Tightened Ownership Regime: Urban–Rural Heterogeneity in South Korea

open access: yesAgricultural Economics, Volume 57, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT In real estate markets featuring substantial search friction and strong seller loss aversion, external shocks that shift buyer valuations are largely reflected in liquidity fluctuations, while price adjustments tend to be rigid. This study examines market liquidity shifts following the tightening of South Korean farmland ownership regulations,

Beyond Sporting Talent: Other Determinants of Football Clubs’ Wage Bills

open access: yesBulletin of Economic Research, Volume 78, Issue 3, Page 672-697, July 2026.
ABSTRACT This article delves into the understanding of how football clubs determine wage bills to compensate talent. Using data from first‐division teams in elite European leagues, we estimate wage models based on indicators of sporting performance, “Elo ratings” as a proxy for clubs’ historical achievements and brand strength, and “media visibility ...
