Black holes production in self-complete quantum gravity
A regular black hole model, which has been proposed by Hayward, is reconsidered in the framework of higher dimensional TeV unification and self-complete quantum gravity scenario (Dvali, Spallucci).

The newly designed metallo‐corrole (Mor‐Cor)Ag(III) with a morpholino group exhibited promising therapeutic potential for Alzheimer's disease. It significantly reduces reactive oxygen species (ROS), decreases GFAP expression, increases neurite length, and decreases cell death compared to other similar metallo‐corroles. Abstract Alzheimer's disease (AD)

Thermodynamical phases of a regular SAdS black hole
This paper studies the thermodynamical stability of regular BHs in AdS5 background. We investigate off-shell free energy of the system as a function of temperature for different values of a "coupling constant" L=4 theta/l^2, where the cosmological ...

The Aluminum energy storage cycle involves the use of renewable energy for Al production and the generation of heat (dry cycle) and heat and H2 (wet cycle) for energy production via Al‐steam combustion. ABSTRACT Reaching climate neutrality by 2050 requires innovative long‐term energy storage (LTES) solutions beyond the current use of fossil fuels ...

A cul-de-sac effect makes Emilia-Romagna more prone to floods in a changing climate
The disastrous flood of May 2023 in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, displaced thousands of residents and had severe impacts on the economy, with extensive damage to infrastructure—roads, buildings, bridges—and losses in agriculture and livestock.

Confinement from gluodynamics in curved space-time
We determine the static potential for a heavy quark-antiquark pair from gluodynamics in curved space-time. Our calculation is done within the framework of the gauge-invariant, path-dependent, variables formalism.

Should non-euro area countries join the single supervisory mechanism? [PDF]
Irrespective of the euro crisis, a European banking union makes sense, including for non-euro area countries, because of the extent of European Union financial integration.

This study introduces a multidimensional framework integrating electrical performance, cost, and life cycle assessment for 140 real and virtual battery cells. Results show that LFP offers low emissions and costs, sodium‐ion excels in resource efficiency, and pouch housings and higher energy densities effectively reduce environmental burdens.
