Future Generations' Perceptions and Evaluations of Financial Intermediaries: A Multivariate Analysis in the Digital and Sustainable Era

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The rapid digital transformation of financial services, increasing regulatory pressure and the growing strategic relevance of sustainability are reshaping financial intermediaries and how they are perceived by younger generations. In this context, traditional monetary compensation schemes are increasingly insufficient to explain how financial ...

Circular Economy Implementation: A Paradox–Dynamic Capabilities Perspective Under Institutional Pressures

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Why do firms facing similar sustainability pressures differ substantially in circular economy implementation? Existing research provides limited insight into how institutional pressures are internally interpreted and translated into organizational action. Drawing on institutional theory, paradox theory, and the dynamic capabilities perspective,

Climate Change Disclosure and Sustainability Awards: Does Assurance Add Value? Evidence From the European Context

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Sustainability awards have become an increasingly visible mechanism for recognising firms' environmental and social performance. This paper examines the individual and combined effects of climate change disclosure and the external assurance of sustainability reports on firms' likelihood of receiving awards for sustainability performance. Using

Development of a Mechanically Regenerating Desublimator for Freeze‐Drying Systems in the Food Industry

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
Thermal defrosting limits desublimator efficiency in freeze‐drying. This review and case study compares thermal versus mechanical regeneration, links frost properties and external heat transfer to energy demand, and summarizes pilot‐scale scraping results enabling single‐unit, continuous lyophilization.
