Natural Biomaterials for Osteochondral Repair: From Source to Strategy
Biological origin‐guided overview of natural biomaterials and therapeutic strategies for osteochondral tissue engineering. The circular diagram categorizes representative materials and strategies into plant/algae‐derived, microbial‐derived, animal‐derived, and human‐derived sources, centered on an osteochondral defect repair model.

The European central bank: a full-fledged scheme or just a “fledgeling”?
This article attempts to answer the questions posed by many Europeans: ‘Is the proposition for a European Central Bank workable or not?’ In an attempt to provide an answer to such a complex question, the history associated with the idea of such an ...

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Conductive Hydrogels for Exogenous Sensing and Cell Fate Control
We engineer electrically conductive hydrogels by combining sulfated glycosaminoglycans with semiconducting polymers. These hydrogels bind bioactive proteins, including growth factors, whose release or retention can be modulated by low‐voltage stimulation. The hydrogels are also integrated as 3D channels in organic electrochemical transistors as part of

Oppositely charged single enzyme nanogels (SENs) phase‐separate into bi‐enzymatic coacervate microdroplets, acting as both scaffold and functional units. By tuning SEN ratios, these coacervates create specific microenvironments that enable selective small‐molecule enrichment and efficient intermediate diffusion.

Liquid metal additives are processed in elastomer host resulting in highly conductive and stretchable composites. The material functions as a piezoresistive sensor with minimal drift, low stiffness, and enhanced operating range. The film can replace wires to charge a mobile phone at ∼350% strain and monitors bodily motion in real‐time via a portable ...

Fiscal consolidations in the Central and Eastern European countries
We study fiscal consolidations in the Central and Eastern European countries and what determines the probability of their success. We define consolidation events as substantive improvements in fiscal balances adjusting for the impact of cyclical effects.

This chapter explores how the European Central Bank (ECB) responded to the 2008 global financial crisis and the 2020 COVID-19 crisis. Akin to what the US Federal Reserve did, the ECB reacted to both the 2008 and 2020 crises by increasing liquidity and loosening monetary policy, including through the adoption of controversial quantitative easing ...
