Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.

The distribution of total and specific serum IgE in the European Community Respiratory Health Survey

open access: yes, 1997
BACKGROUND: Variations in the prevalence of atopy could provide important clues to the etiology of atopy and asthma. Although estimates of prevalence are available from different studies, a lack of standardization makes comparisons difficult.

Topography‐Regulated Screening Platform for Myoblast Contact Guidance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study develops a topography‐regulated screening platform (12 gradients in 96‐topography‐well plate) enabling analysis of skeletal muscle morphogenesis. The topography‐induced cell morphology changed, cell polarization, and myotube differentiation, establishing an evaluative framework for generating pathologically relevant myotube phenotypes to ...

The Political European Leadership and the Current System of International Relations

open access: yesEIRP Proceedings, 2011
Transforming an economic community in an international political single actor represented an objective both for the theorist of the European unification process and for the founder father of the actual European Union.

Additive‐Manufactured, Multifunctional Bioreactor Technology for Dynamic Culture of 3D Bioprinted Tissue Models

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We introduce an additively manufactured bioreactor with a perfusion flow system and integrated temperature and pH sensors for skeletal muscle tissue biofabrication. The bioreactor's performance was evaluated by assessing the viability, spreading of the myoblast cells in a printed scaffold, and contraction of the isolated murine musculi interossei ...

Controlling Film Formation in Inkjet‐printed MAPbBr3 Through Graphene Incorporation for Enhanced Photodetection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work highlights the impact of incorporating graphene nanoflakes into precursor inks of MAPbBr3 for inkjet‐printed optoelectronic device applications. A substantial modification of the crystallization dynamics is reported despite miniscule concentrations.

O MERCOSUL e o direito comunitário

open access: yesScientia Iuris, 2002
Because of the tendency all over the planet on grouping macroeconomic regional blocks, the study of the Community Law, as a new law's subject, has becoming a necessity not only among the responsible by the project destination, but also among those that ...
