Advanced Science, EarlyView.The non‐focused nanosecond pulsed laser irradiation of aromatic liquids produces amorphous carbon nanodots (CNDs) or curved‐graphene quantum dots (c‐GQDs) by surface‐catalyzed 0‐order reactions under kinetic control. C hybridization partially changes from sp2 to sp3. O‐based groups passivate the surface.
