Cyclen tetra‐amide derivatives provide a privileged ligand platform for controlling second‐coordination sphere structure. Hydrogen‐bond networks in the second‐coordination sphere are leveraged to stabilize a EuII‐containing cyclen tetra‐amide derivative in physiologically relevant conditions by limiting the access of O2, establishing a design‐principle

Europium Nitride from Sponge Europium and Ammonia.
In order to obtain pure EuN powder, sponge Eu was prepared by evacuation of NH3 under 10-s Torr from an Eu solution of liquid NH3 a part of impurities in which was removed by dissolution of Eu. The resulting sponge Eu contained 2-3% of Eu(NH2)2 and a small amount of Eu(OH)3.

Superconductivity with Europium [PDF]
Abstract EuIr 2 becomes superconducting at 0.2 K. Arc melting this compound raises T c to 2.6 K, in an apparently different and unidentified structure. These are the first superconductors containing Eu.

The strategy of incorporating the Eu(tta‐Si)3(phen) and Sm(tta‐Si)3(phen)2 complexes prevented leaching of the complexes and preserved their intrinsic optical properties. Preliminary studies of silylated Ln3+ complexes and nanoparticles loaded with these complexes demonstrated cytotoxicity against cancer cells, with minimal cytotoxic effect on nontumor

Study of the interaction of Zinc sulfide with Europium (III) fluoride by spectroscopic methods
A study was conducted on the interaction of Zinc sulfide, obtained by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis, and purified from oxygen with Europium (III) fluoride. The optical properties of the obtained systems were studied.

Sustainable Metal Recovery From E‐Waste: Exploring Greener Leachates in Hydrometallurgical Processes
Recycling of electronic waste to synthesize valuable metals using green leachate. ABSTRACT The accumulation of electronic waste (e‐waste) poses environmental hazards and leads to the loss of valuable metals such as gold, silver, copper, and rare earth elements.

Flour moisture detection with an europium-based luminescent sensor
In this work, we describe the application of the self-assembled europium complex 1:Eu(III) (where 1: diethyl 8-methoxy-2-oxo-1,2,4,5-tetrahydro-cyclopenta[de]quinolin-3-yl)phosphonate) for the analysis of water content of wheat flour.
