Long‐Term Outcomes of Exercise‐Based Rehabilitation and Immunometabolic Parameters in Adult Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Recipients: An Updated Systematic Review of Randomised Controlled Trials

open access: yeseJHaem, Volume 7, Issue 5, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Adult haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) survivors have deficits in physical function, fatigue and quality of life that differ between autologous and allogeneic recipients. Few randomised controlled trials (RCTs) have evaluated exercise at 3 months or more, and immune reconstitution is rarely assessed.

Safety and Effectiveness of a Bioabsorbable Septal Implant for Cartilaginous Nasal Septal Deviation

open access: yesLaryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology, Volume 11, Issue 5, October 2026.
This study aims to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a bioabsorbable submucosal septal implant (SeptAlign; Spirair Inc.) for minimally invasive correction of cartilaginous nasal septal deviation (NSD). In 80 subjects (92.5% with moderate‐to‐severe NSD), NOSE scores decreased by 63.2% (from 67.5 at baseline to 26.0 at 3 months and 23.6 at 6 ...

High‐Flow Nasal Oxygen in Early Home Pulmonary Rehabilitation for Exertional Hypoxaemia: A Pilot Randomised Feasibility Trial

open access: yesRespirology, Volume 31, Issue 10, Page 1029-1040, October 2026.
This pilot randomised feasibility trial evaluated the feasibility and acceptability of early, intensive home‐based pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) and high‐flow nasal oxygen (HFO) during exercise in patients with exertional hypoxaemia post‐hospitalisation. Early home‐based PR was feasible and safe.
