Broken lamellar eutectic growth; Structure of the silver-bismuth eutectic
Journal of Crystal Growth, 1968Abstract A roughness parameter has been calculated for the surfaces of two phases in equilibrium with Ag-Bi melts. The calculations suggest that the Ag-rich phase is non-faceted in Ag-rich melts and faceted in melts approaching the eutectic composition, whilst the Bi-rich phase is always non-faceted.
