Environmental and Genetic Effects on the Composition of Palm Oil From Hybrid Plant Clones of Caiaué and Oil Palm

open access: yesJournal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The interspecific hybrids (IEH OxG) obtained from the crossing of Elaeis oleifera (Eo) and Elaeis guineensis (Eg) are resistant to some diseases that affect Eg in some regions of South America, and commercial growing in several countries has been established.

Valorization of Post‐Consumer Waste From Metallized Flexible Packaging and Industrial EPM Waste: Development of Sustainable Composites

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Post‐consumer metallized flexible packaging waste and industrial EPM waste are transformed into sustainable composites through mechanical recycling. The incorporation of 30 wt% EPM provides the most favorable balance between stiffness, ductility, and impact resistance, achieving 53.36 kJ/m2.

Developmental differences in cortical bone structure in chimpanzee and human femora reflect early locomotor independence in humans

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract The cortical bone structure of long bone diaphyses changes throughout growth via skeletal modeling and has important implications for bone strength and structural integrity. Ontogenetic trends in diaphyseal structure have been identified in both chimpanzees and humans but it is not yet clear how these trends compare given notable differences ...

Deucravacitinib in Active Psoriatic Arthritis: Efficacy and Safety up to 52 Weeks From the Randomized, Double‐Blind, Phase 3 POETYK PsA‐2 Trial

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Accepted Article.
Objective To assess the efficacy and safety of deucravacitinib, an oral, selective tyrosine kinase 2 inhibitor, in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) who were naive to biologic disease‐modifying antirheumatic drugs or received tumor necrosis factor inhibitors. Methods In the 52‐week (W), double‐blind, placebo‐controlled, phase 3 POETYK PsA‐2 study

Anti–Carbamylated Fibrinogen Autoantibodies of IgG and IgA Isotypes Contribute to a Better Prognostic Stratification in Very Early Rheumatoid Arthritis: Data From the French National ESPOIR Cohort

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence and longitudinal evolution of anti–carbamylated fibrinogen antibodies (ACa‐Fib) of IgG and IgA isotypes in early rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and determine whether these antibodies provide additional diagnostic and prognostic information beyond anti–cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti‐CCP ...

Myeloid p38 activation maintains macrophage–liver crosstalk and BAT thermogenesis through IL‐12–FGF21 axis

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
Physiological activation of myeloid p38 controls macrophage IL‐12 production and crosstalk to the liver by modulating hepatic FGF21, and subsequently, brown adipose tissue thermogenesis during obesity Abstract Obesity features excessive fat accumulation in several body tissues and induces a state of chronic low‐grade inflammation that contributes to ...
