INVESTIGATION OF EVACUATED TUBE COLLECTORS

International Journal of Solar Energy, 1994
The present paper investigates the performance of evacuated tube collectors. A dynamical model is implemented to determine the performance of four different evacuated tube collectors. Multiple regression analysis is used to fit measurements to the dynamical model to identify collector parameters.

Evacuated-tube directional-radiating cooling system

Solar Energy, 1985
Abstract A new type of radiative cooling system is described. The radiator makes use of nonimaging optics and evacuated-tube technology to radiate significant amounts of heat to the 3 K environment of outer space. The nonimaging optics are used to direct the radiation overhead, through the most transparent part of the 8–13 μm atmospheric window.

Performance comparison of evacuated U-tube solar collector integrated parabolic reflector with conventional evacuated U-tube solar collector

Sādhanā, 2021
In the present study, performance of the fabricated evacuated U-tube solar collector integrated parabolic reflector (EUSCIPR) and conventional evacuated U-tube solar collector (CEUSC) are analysed experimentally. With reference to humid climatic conditions, a 3D model is developed for comparing the thermal performance of EUSCIPR with a CEUSC ...
