Experimental Evaluation of Heat Stress Indices
American Industrial Hygiene Association Journal, 1970Four subjects were exposed to overlapping combinations of environmental heat stress parameters. Each experiment consisted of a 45-minute ride on a bicycle ergometer set to obtain the desired metabolic rate. Measurements were made of fifteen physiological parameters near the end of each experiment.

Evaluation of Humidity Indicators
1976Abstract : Prototype humidity indicators were tested and evaluated by the contractor simultaneously with humidity indicators presently used or previously considered for packaging appications. The newly developed humidity indicator is highly shock resistant, has a standard deviation of 2.2 percent RH over its calibrated range, is easily and quickly read

Comparison of Dalmatian Water Evaluation Indices
Water Environment Research, 2003Water quality in the Dalmatian waters of Southern Croatia was assessed using four different indices: an arithmetic index, arithmetic modified index, geometric modified index, and Solway‐modified index. The waters were sampled 12 times during 1 year (from July 1998 to July 1999) at 50 sampling sites in Dalmatia.

Evaluation of anthropometric indices
2005Abstract Standardized methods of evaluating anthropometric indices are absolutely essential for identifying malnourished individuals in need of treatment and for assessing the nutritional status of population groups. The methods selected will depend on the objectives of the study and the facilities available for data handling.

Subjective Evaluations as Indicators of Change
Journal of Health and Social Behavior, 1977This research note examines the relative contribution of(l) current functioning and (2) change in functioning to subjective evaluations of change. The aim is to assess the validity of substituting such subjective measures for estimates of change derivedfrom a before-after design, when the purpose of the substitution is not evaluation of some treatment ...
