HEA interlayers offer a versatile route for joining high‐performance structural materials. Their compositional and structural design regulates interfacial reactions, suppresses brittle IMCs, and improves metallurgical bonding. Sandwich interlayers further integrate defect healing with precipitation strengthening, enabling improved strength–ductility ...

Effects of Mg on Microstructure and Solidification of a Hypereutectic Zn–8 wt.%Al Alloy
An appreciable set of results involving thermal data, microstructure, chemical composition, and microstructural growth laws is reported for ZnAlMg alloys. Such results demonstrate that ZnAlMg alloys have high potential for applications in automotive self‐lubricating components, batteries, and electrical systems.

FastNano Liquid: An Automated Platform for Small‐Angle X‐ray Scattering‐Based Materials Discovery
We present FastNano Liquid, an automated small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering platform for the combined synthesis and characterization of (nano)materials. The platform is coupled to varied reactor workflows for both in situ studies of reaction kinetics and ex situ screening of synthesis conditions to support machine learning‐guided exploration ...

1 Introduction: why evaluative morphology?
Evaluative morphology is the field of word formation which deals with diminutives, augmentatives, pejoratives, and amelioratives. Even if this issue has been widely studied in the last decades, what is still missing is a definition of what can be ...

Morphological evaluation of embryo viability
Microprocessing and Microprogramming, 1994Abstract Determining the viability of livestock-embryos is an important procedure in minimizing the economic risk arising in case of transplantation of ‘engineered’ embryos into recipient animals. This evaluation is carried out at various segmentation phases of the embryos.

Evaluation of Kidney Morphology
JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1982To the Editor.— In response to a question from a New York physician regarding contraindications and risks of retrograde pyelography as a first procedure in a patient with toxic drug reaction to the kidneys, the responding consultant, Chester C. Winter, MD (1982;247:2152), did not make a comment on retrograde pyelography in that particular clinical ...
