Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.

Design and evaluation of novel microtube-based and fan-assisted evaporative cooling vests in climatic chamber under hot and dry conditions

open access: yesScientific Reports
Exposure to high temperatures in industrial environments can lead to heat stress and a decline in physiological performance. The use of evaporative cooling garments has been proposed as an effective strategy to reduce body temperature and enhance ...

A Novel Modified Petroresin Particle (MPRP) With Enhanced Oil–Water Selectivity for Cold Production in Heavy Oil Reservoirs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel oil–water selective conformance control agent, MPRP, is prepared via hydrophilic grafting and mechanical granulation. MPRP uniformly disperses in water, cohesively expands upon aging, and readily dissolves in the oil phase. During conformance control, it selectively aggregates in water channeling pathways to form effective plugs without ...

Hierarchical Primary‐Secondary Coordination Synchronizes Ion Flux and Sulfur Redox in Solid Polymer Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Hierarchical coordination engineering redistributes Li+ from anion‐dominated pairing toward polymer‐mediated binding. Strong primary sites promote salt dissociation, while distributed secondary sites sustain dynamic hopping pathways. This coordination landscape couples ion flux with polysulfide conversion, suppresses transport‐conversion decoupling ...

Bio‐Inspired Biopolymeric Implantable Platform for Localized and Sustained Drug Delivery in Solid Tumor Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A bio‐inspired biopolymeric implantable drug delivery platform enables localized and sustained release of 7‐ethyl‐10‐hydroxycamptothecin (SN‐38) in solid tumor treatment. The three‐dimensional (3D) structured crosslinked‐chitosan implants are fabricated via 3D‐printed molds and provide drug release over 3 months, significantly inhibiting tumor growth ...

ANALYSIS OF POSSIBILITIES OF EVAPORATIVE COOLING IN AUTONOMOUS AND COMBINED SYSTEMS

open access: yesProblems of the Regional Energetics, 2009
It is described possibility of the use of the evaporative cooling as in autonomous version of execution, so in combined systems, for example, as the component of desiccant–evaporative coolers, where preliminary dehumidification of the air assures high ...
