Forecasting reference evapotranspiration
2000The ability to forecast reference evapotranspiration (ETo) accurately will greatly enhance our capability to manage the irrigation of high-frequency irrigation systems and shallow-rooted crops. If weather data are accurately forecast from synoptic and mesoscale models, then ETo forecasts are likely to be more accurate than statistical models.

Evapotranspiration in Greenhouses
1982A physically based evapotranspiration model has been developed and tested in an experimental greenhouse. Good agreement was found between hourly model estimates and mass balance measurements of the latent heat flux. The model recognizes the advective nature of the greenhouse microclimate and thus represents an improvement over empirical model estimates
