Trabecular bone ontogeny of the human talus
Abstract Studies of trabecular ontogeny may provide insight into the factors that drive healthy bone development. There is a growing understanding of how the juvenile skeleton responds to these influences; however, gaps in our knowledge remain. This study aims to identify ontogenetic trabecular patterns and regional changes during development within ...

Recipient‐derived macrophages undergo M1‐like polarization after heart transplantation under interferon, IL‐6 and TNF‐α signalling. NF‐κB/STAT3 activation promotes GSDMD‐mediated pyroptosis and IL‐1β release in macrophages. Macrophage‐derived IL‐1β enhances CD8+T cell recruitment and activation, driving acute cardiac allograft rejection.

ABSTRACT This study investigated ankle, knee, and hip joint movement coordination during brace use via a lower‐limb kinematic chain approach, which may influence biomechanical factors associated with injury risk. Twenty badminton players performed a left forecourt kick lunge under four brace conditions. Kinematic and kinetic data were collected using a

Abstract Purpose Circumferential patellar denervation is widely performed during total knee arthroplasty under the assumption that electrocautery ablates nociceptive neural structures at the lateral patellar border. However, the microscopic effect of this procedure on neural substrates remains poorly defined.

ABSTRACT Ankle sprains are among the most common musculoskeletal injuries, with the anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) most frequently affected. Although cadaveric and in vivo studies have demonstrated the ATFL's role in restraining anterior talar translation and inversion, its isolated mechanical contribution remains unclear due to technical ...
