Experimental everted mechanical intestinal suture

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 1982
UDC 616.34-089.84:615.472.2 In the last two decades instruments for mechanical suture have been introduced on a wide scale in abdominal surgery. Most Soviet suturing instruments (the NZhKA-60, PKS-25, KTs-28, SPTU) and their American counterparts (YIA, EEA) are designed to form anastomoses with an invested suture.

The Everting Suture

The Journal of Urology, 1996
A new technique using an everting suture to construct a ureteral nipple is described. The method was used to create 28 ureteral nipples. A 2-zero silk suture is passed through the ureteral wall, transfixing the lumen, and is tied 5 cm. away from the ureteral wall. The ends are cut 10 cm. long.

[Pelviscopic salpingostomy with everted suture].

Zentralblatt fur Gynakologie, 1995
From 1987 to 1990 pelvioscopic distal salpingostomy was performed in 47 patients at the University Hospital of Kiel. The tubal mucosa was everted and fixed with 4/0 PDS sutures. 35 patients (74%) responded to a questionnaire 2-4 years after surgery. A bilateral salpingostomy had been performed in 16 of these 35 cases, while the contralateral tube was ...

[Experimental mechanical everting intestinal suture].

Biulleten' eksperimental'noi biologii i meditsiny, 1983
An experimental study was made of the application of the new suture apparatuses, CK-60 and CKK-60, for establishing one-layer everted anastomoses on the small and large intestines. The one-layer everted anastomosis results in minimal adhesions, ensures appropriate tightness of the anastomosis, hemostasis, healing by first intention, does not lead to ...
