Wood Cellulosic Membrane With Abundant Nanochannels for Stabilizing Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries
A wood‐derived cellulosic membrane separator is developed to suppress dendrite growth in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. Its aligned nanochannels and hydroxyl‐rich surfaces enable uniform Zn2+ flux, water immobilization, and interfacial stabilization. Zn||Zn cells achieve 1920 h of cycling, Zn||Cu cells maintain 99.5% Coulombic efficiency over 1000 cycles,

Rutile GeO2${\rm GeO}_{2}$ exhibits orientation‐dependent heat transport with temperature‐dependent anisotropy, showing higher cross‐plane thermal conductivity along [001] than along the equivalent in‐plane [100] and [010] directions. Temperature‐dependent TDTR measurements and first‐principles phonon calculations identify the microscopic phonon ...

Damaska's Evidence Law Adrift: Mutual Relationship between Three Procedural Pillars
In the book "Evidence Law Adrift",Damaska ...

Reflections on Complexity, Evidence, and Law
AbstractThe pursuit of knowledge in many disciplines is undergoing a transformation from standard reductionist efforts popularly captured by “the scientific method” to embracing the framework of complexity theory and complex adaptive systems. That framework is invaluable to understand both the law of evidence and the nature of the American legal system.

Synthesis of AgBiS2 and AgInS2 Based on Formation Energies in Sulfur‐Rich Reducing Flame
High‐surface‐area AgInS2 and AgBiS2 nanoparticles were synthesized via enclosed flame spray pyrolysis by tuning flame conditions and formation energies to guide phase formation. Flame parameters were tuned to suppress oxides and enable pure sulfide phase growth.

In this work, we highlight a unique material platform capable of producing three distinct room temperature (RT) photoluminescence (PL) resonances from spatially separated regions composed of a heterobilayer (HBL), a homobilayer (HoBL), and an heterotrilayer (HTL) transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) heterostructures configuration on a highly ...

A non‐aqueous, solution‐based graphene‐wrapping strategy is shown to stabilize disordered rocksalt LMTOF cathodes without structural degradation. The graphene‐wrapped cathode suppresses oxygen loss and parasitic interfacial reactions, lowers impedance growth, and delivers improved cycling stability and rate capability compared with conventional ball ...

Evidence Law and the Jury: A Reassessment
The common law of evidence is counterintuitive because it seeks to facilitate the search for truth by regulating fact- finders’ access to and evaluation of evidence.

Electroforming‐free TiN/SiOx/Cu/SiOx/TiN memristive devices exploit pancake‐like Cu nanoparticles embedded in a SiOx double layer to create a heterogeneous Schottky‐barrier landscape. Under bias, oxygen‐vacancy redistribution progressively lowers local barriers and recruits initially inactive Cu‐PC pathways into a parallel conduction ensemble, enabling
