An Evidence Theory and Fuzzy Logic Combined Approach for the Prediction of Potential ARF-Regulated Genes in Quinoa [PDF]
Quinoa constitutes among the tolerant plants to the challenging and harmful abiotic environmental factors. Quinoa was selected as among the model crops destined for bio-saline agriculture that could contribute to the staple food security for an ever ...

Dam Safety Evaluation Based on Interval-Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Evidence Theory [PDF]
Considering the multi-sources, heterogeneity and complexity of dam safety assessment, a dam safety assessment model based on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set and evidence theory is proposed to perform dam safety reliability evaluations.

The vital role of a base station (BS) in a wireless sensor network (WSN) has made it a favorable target in hostile environments. Despite attempts to physically make the BS hidden to prying eyes, traffic analysis would give an adversary insight into the ...

An improved method to determine basic probability assignment based on fuzzy mathematics [PDF]
In D-S evidence theory, the determination of the basic probability assignment function (BPA) is the first and important step. However, the generation of BPA is still a problem to be solved.

Traffic Analysis Through Spatial and Temporal Correlation: Threat and Countermeasure
The base station (BS) in a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) plays the role of a data sink, a point of contact with the upper hierarchy, and an in-situ command and control unit.

Imitation - Theory and Experimental Evidence [PDF]
We introduce a generalized theoretical approach to study imitation and subject it to rigorous experimental testing. In our theoretical analysis we find that the different predictions of previous imitation models are due to different informational assumptions, not to different behavioral rules. It is more important whom one imitates rather than how.
