On the Equivalence of Solutions for a Class of Stochastic Evolution Equations in a Banach Space [PDF]
Acknowledgments: The author wishes to thank Professor Anna Chojnowska-Michalik and the referee for many helpful suggestions and comments. We study a class of stochastic evolution equations in a Banach space E driven by cylindrical Wiener process ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Integral equations as evolution equations
AbstractWe study a class of time-dependent linear integrodifferential equations (VE) with the evolution equation approach. We determine the generators of a time-dependent evolution equation (DE) which is equivalent to the given integrodifferential equation.

Notes on the Propagators of Evolution Equations [PDF]
In this note, the authors study the following problem: given a nonnegative scalar function \(g\) defined on \(\mathbb R^+\) such that \(g(0)=0\) and \(g(t+s)\leq g(t)g(s)\) for \(t,s\geq 0\), is it always possible to find a \(C^0\)-semigroup \((T(t))_{t\geq 0}\) such that \(|T(t)|=g(t)\) for \(t\geq 0\)?

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Optimal control of stochastic partial differential equations in Banach spaces [PDF]
In this thesis we study optimal control problems in Banach spaces for stochastic partial differential equations. We investigate two different approaches.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

The 'tanh-coth expansion method' for finding solitary travelling-wave solutions to nonlinear evolution equations has been used extensively in the literature. It is a natural extension to the basic tanh-function expansion method which was developed in the

On the initial-value problem of the Maxwell-Lorentz equations. [PDF]
We consider the Maxwell-Lorentz equations, i.e., the equation of motion of a charged dust coupled to Maxwell's equations, on an arbitrary general-relativistic spacetime.

Lagrange Equations Coupled to a Thermal Equation: Mechanics as Consequence of Thermodynamics
Following the analytic approach to thermodynamics developed by Stückelberg, we study the evolution equations of a closed thermodynamic system consisting of point particles in a fluid.
