ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

Operator splittings and spatial approximations for evolution equations [PDF]
The convergence of various operator splitting procedures, such as the sequential, the Strang and the weighted splitting, is investigated in the presence of a spatial approximation. To this end a variant of Chernoff's product formula is proved.

The quaternionic evolution operator
The authors study quaternionic semigroups and groups generated by quaternionic, in general unbounded, linear operators of the form \(T=T_0+i T_1+j T_2+k T_3\). The components \(T_l\), \(l=0,1,2,3\), do not necessarily commute. The quaternionic version of the Hille-Phillips-Yosida generation theorem is established.

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

On the Evolution Operators of a Class of Time-Delay Systems with Impulsive Parameterizations
This paper formalizes the analytic expressions and some properties of the evolution operator that generates the state-trajectory of dynamical systems combining delay-free dynamics with a set of discrete, or point, constant (and not necessarily ...

Asymptotic evolution of random unitary operations [PDF]
AbstractWe analyze the asymptotic dynamics of quantum systems resulting from large numbers of iterations of random unitary operations. Although, in general, these quantum operations cannot be diagonalized it is shown that their resulting asymptotic dynamics is described by a diagonalizable superoperator.

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Spectrum of the Frobenius-Perron operator for systems with stochastic perturbation
We analyze the problem of evolution in a system with stochastic perturbation and point out that analytic properties of the noise present in the system might determine spectral properties of the evolution operator (Frobenius-Perron operator).
